Scott is a graduate of Cornell University, an Eagle Scout, and the drummer in Fretomology, a band that donates all proceeds to charity. He is proud to be the immediate past Chairman of two non-profit boards (WHRO Public Media and the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art), and Vice Chairman of a third (Cape Henry Collegiate School), as well as a member of the Champlain College President’s Leadership Council. But Scott is by far most proud of his two college-aged children, Miles and Elena, and his amazing wife of 35 years, Christina.
